Superb stage show

I went last night, Friday 8th July 22 at the Liverpool Empire. I love the film so couldn't wait to see the musical. I have to say, I was blown away by the performance of the actor playing Dewey Fin. In my opinion, he was better in that role than Jack Black. Special mentions also go to Miss Mullins and Ned Scheebly who were both superb. Lastly the kids, the level of music and singing was off the scale. Again special mention to the girl playing Tomika and her solo. Out of this world. If you are a fan of the film, you will not be disappointed. 10/10

We have seen the West End production of School of Rock and, of course, the film with Jack Black several times and loved them all, but, I can honestly say that the show that we saw at the Bristol Hippodrome on Thursday afternoon was the best yet. The whole cast were amazing but the kids stole the show. Insanely talented both musically and in their acting and comedic abilities. I can only imagine the hours of hard work that went into producing such a professional production. Thankyou all so much!
